About John Amador

A Ministry of Faith, Creativity, and Service

Author • Bible Study Leader • Creator of Bible Coloring & Discovery Books

My name is John Amador, and I believe that understanding God's Word can change lives.

I attend South Mountain Community Church, where I have the joy of playing in the worship band. I also lead a weekly Bible study, something that has become an important part of my faith journey.

It was during our Bible study discussions that I began noticing something that troubled me. Many Christians were struggling with some of the foundational teachings of Christianity.

I began asking myself a question: How can we make learning about the Bible more engaging, interactive, and enjoyable?

I wanted to create something that would encourage people of all ages to explore Scripture—not simply read about biblical characters, but discover their stories, understand their experiences, and reflect on the lessons God teaches us through His Word.

A Prayer That Inspired a Purpose

One passage of Scripture particularly touched my heart: Matthew 9:35–38.

As Jesus traveled through the cities and villages, He saw the multitudes and was moved with compassion. They were “harassed and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd.”

Then Jesus told His disciples:

“The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest.”— Matthew 9:37–38, World English Bible

Those words stayed with me.

I prayed that God would make me a laborer for His kingdom.

And out of that desire to serve came the inspiration to create Bible coloring books, discovery books, and Scripture-based learning resources.

More Than Coloring Books

My goal has never been to replace the Bible.

My hope is to encourage people to open their Bibles, read God's Word for themselves, and develop a deeper understanding of Scripture.

Through beautiful illustrations, memorable Bible stories, engaging activities, historical context, and opportunities for reflection, I hope to make learning about Scripture an experience that children, families, and adults can enjoy together.

Whether you're a parent sharing Bible stories with your children, an adult rediscovering familiar passages, or a Bible study leader looking for creative ways to engage your group, these books were created with you in mind.

Serving God by Serving Others

At the heart of John Amador Ministries is a simple desire: to serve God by serving others.

I don't know how many people these books will reach. But my prayer is that each one might plant a seed of curiosity, encourage someone in their faith, or inspire a reader to discover something wonderful in the Bible.

And if these books inspire even one person to open God's Word and begin exploring its timeless truths, that would be a blessing beyond measure.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
